A fundamental part of urban land use planning and management is the use of the multipurpose land registry, an instrument that allows for administrative registration describing urban and rural properties, as well as those with special characteristics. This registry is generally administered by municipalities and cities and also represents revenue from the collection of the corresponding tax.
